What are ways to make money through your own website?

I am not really sure what you are asking so I will answer the question as I interpret it.

If you are thinking along the lines of advertising, I will be blunt and tell you that unless you get 100,000 hits or more per month on your site, don't even try to get advertisers for your site.

If you are asking about what kind of product or services to offer on your site, then the answers are limitless. I personally would go with the affiliate route. This way you can offer products and services of OTHER businesses without the hassels involved with maintaining the client lists, customer relations, payment processing and the myriad other hassles that I hate about business ownership.

There are a number of affiliate programs out there that offer great products and services. Affiliate business is so profitable that I have recently started offering an affiliate program with our own site. If you can get several legitimate programs running and paying you, there is a lot of money to be made. Just be careful and do your homework. Affiliate programs range in price from free to $5000. If you are going to spend money to join an affiliate program, ask yourself this question: if the program is so profitable, why do they need to charge people to join? The answer is simple, they know that most of their money is going to be made on enrollment fees. Most of these programs just don't work.

But, if you are willing to market yourself and do a little work every day toward promoting your site, you can make affiliate programs work.

If you want to check out my program, which is free to join, just visit my site: karunaservices.com

I won't lie to you, it will require a significant effort to market it properly but it can pay off if you do it right.
