Raise the temperature of your AC and use a programmable thermostat to help lower your electrical expenses. $500 per 3 months is too high. Turn off lights/appliances when not in use. Make use of timers and/or surge protectors and turn off computers and cable boxes completely (vampire appliances). Electrical water heater? Turn down the temperature to 120 degrees. I wish we only spend $100 every 3 months on gas! Your food expenses are off the chart! Are you eating out a lot?? Purchase store brand items at the grocery taking advantage of sale ads and/or coupons. We simply have to do what we have to to make ends meet. It's hard to give up those other items you mention but perhaps shop around or go without if it's not mandatory or completely necessary. Best of luck!
